We develop chronic sinusitis when our immune system fights off allergens. This results in multiple symptoms lasting for a long time, usually over 12 weeks. These allergens can come from airborne tree pollen in the springtime, ragweed in the fall, grasses in summer, and indoor allergens during the winter.
